Following the steps set by the Cebu Technological University, Engr. Naomi A. Bajao in partnership with the BSICT students organized a Computer Literacy training program that helps the barangay officials to learn a new and easy way of recording and keeping their important documents through the new technology.

The BSICT students made a goal of practicing their newly sought knowledge by assisting the people to know the basics about computer. Engr. Naomi Bajao lectured about the computer main parts and their uses and she also introduced the MS OFFICE applications

While in the other hand, the students facilitated in instructing MS WORD, MS EXCEL and MS POWERPOINT and use it. Each of them was given tasks to be applied in the said applications. And after they finished their output they showcased it to everyone.

After that they were introduced to INTERNET, they were lectured what internet is and its vast array of application. The facilitators helped them in making their Facebook and yahoo mail accounts.

The fun was mutual, the facilitators actually enjoyed teaching their knowledge learned from their study.

It is to give emphasis on the vision of the school to do extension programs in line with the curriculum.  Given the fact that all sought out technologies should be given ample time to consider its usage most specifically to the persons who most need it. By starting the program in teaching barangay officials, it shall be disseminated among people who wanted to accomplish the same knowledge to be applied in their barangays activities.
